What does it mean to be connected? How do our connections with one another and God's connection with us bring new life? What might need to be pruned away so that new growth can happen? All of these questions are raised by Jesus' words in scripture this week. Come and worship God, ponder these questions, and discover your connection to the True Vine. Worship for April 28 begins at 9 AM in our sanctuary and will also be live-streamed on our website. Pastor Janet Lepp is our guest preacher and worship leader. #elca #champaignurbana

Some of the books we're always reading (the Bible), have read, or are planning to read soon here at Good Shepherd. Our next book club book is Atul Gawande's "Being Mortal". Add it to your reading list and join us to discuss when the Book Club meets again in September.
People of faith are called to care for the earth. May we care for the environment every single day by making better choices in our consumption of natural resources, reducing the waste we create, and advocating for greener practices and policies in business and government.
