Please join us for a Family Game Night on Friday, February 13th from 5 - 8 pm in the Fellowship Hall! All ages are welcome and we will have food to share! #champaignurbana #SavoyIL #elca
Looking for a fun way to engage your family in faith? Join us for Messy Church on Sunday, February 1 at 10:15 AM. All ages are welcome as we learn about Jesus - the Light of the World. Hands-on activities, crafts, interactive prayers and a conversational "worship" time will be offered during this hour. (And, of course, yummy donuts and good coffee, too!) Invite your friends and dress casually (because there will be glue!).
This coming Sunday (Feb. 1) we hear Luke’s story of the ritual at which the infant Jesus was presented in the temple. Welcoming him in the temple are Simeon and Anna, two elders who have been waiting and hoping for hope. As they hold Jesus in their arms, they see their hopes fulfilled. Come to worship, and at communion hold Christ in your own hands. Following our 9 AM worship, there will also be a Messy Church gathering for all ages, beginning at 10:15 in the Fellowship Hall. As always, the service will also be livestreamed on our website and YouTube channel. #elca #champaignurbana #savoyillinois

MEALS FOR ST. ANDREW'S
PLEASE NOTE: All meals are on now Sunday evenings!
Sunday, February 1 - Theme: Souper Supper - One vegetarian soup and another type of soup plus bread/rolls, salad and a dessert for 10-15 people.
St. Andrew's is now in their new building and can have groups come in and cook or provide supplies for students to cook, or pans of food can be dropped off to be heated in the ovens. We are no longer limited to crock-pot meals! If you are interested in providing food for our friends at St. Andrew's let Agatha know! She is willing to pick up items at Good Shepherd or stop by your house, if that is more convenient! Contact Agatha to coordinate drop off of any food/meals that students will need to cook. If the meal is already cooked, it needs to be dropped off before 4PM the day of the meal.
